Winery route: how it works
The practical detail of a day at the wineries with a driver: how the itinerary is put together, how many visits fit in a day and how it is coordinated with the wineries.

How the route works
We define the itinerary with you — which wineries, in what order and how long at each — and the driver adapts to the group's pace. With two wineries and lunch included, a full day is well filled; three is usually the reasonable limit before the visit turns into a race.

Usual wineries and areas
La Rioja concentrates its wineries between Logroño, Haro and the villages of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. Most require advance booking for guided visits and tastings: it is best to arrange them before fixing the route.

Reduced-mobility access
The vehicle has a space adapted for reduced mobility. It is also worth checking with the chosen winery whether its facilities are accessible, as not all of them are.
For groups of more than four or five people, a nine-seat vehicle with a driver is more comfortable than splitting into several cars and prevents the group from arriving at each winery scattered.
